The CharGenMorph Compiler is a small application I coded for Dragon Age:Origins which analyses and combines an arbitrary number of XML files, removes duplicates and can optionally check for missing assets within the directory used for mod support for Dragon Age. The tool has enjoyed considerable success in the community with over 300,000 downloads to date, allowing mod users to easily combine multiple different aesthetic and cosmetic mods for use in their game without and resource conflicts occurring in game.
Essentially it allows different modded textures/meshes made by different mod authors to play together nicely with minimal fuss for the end-user.
Chargenmorph Compiler How To Use Java
If you're just using a single facemorph mod, you'll just use the.xml that the author supplied and it works fine. But as soon as you want to add another, you have a problem. The game will only recognize one. Hence the need to either edit it by hand, or use the 'Chargenmorph Compiler', to merge the new mod's version with your existing one.
Chargenmorph Compiler How To Use Excel
CharGenMorph Compiler automates the process of merging chargenmorphcfg.xml files, searching through all override directories and reconstructing a singular 'master' xml file containing all the values. Gone are the days of manually editing xml files and painfully having to eyeball the differences between files - CharGenMorph Comp. No, not game breaking with these files, no worries. It's lucky that tmp had already done a chargen file, made it easy. Lol, I had to manually add the Ren bobbed hair from scratch and it was a really big pain!
